Is Motorola making a wooden phone?

After launching the Razr 50 Ultra last year, rumours are now pointing towards a successor for the flagship foldable—the Razr 60 Ultra.

There have been renders shared on social media of the device in green and red, but now there’s a new wood-inspired variant.
The image shared show the Razor 60 Ultra appearing to have a wooden-textured back. But it is unknown if it is actual wood or just a wooden finish.
Motorola hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but a wood design could add premium, natural aesthetic to the upcoming device.
The Razr 60 Ultra is expected to pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it one of the most powerful foldable phones on the market.
With more leaks expected in the coming weeks, we’ll soon know if Motorola is going with real wood or not.
Either way, the Razr 60 Ultra is shaping up to be one of 2025’s most interesting foldables.
