‘OG’ ChatGPT app is coming to iOS users

It’s safe to assume that everyone has at least heard about Open AI’s ChatGPT.

For those who haven’t, ChatGPT is an AI chatbot that uses natural language processing to create humanlike conversations.

This chatbot can give answers to a wide variety of questions and commands; such as telling stories, suggesting recipes, writing an email etc. The list is endless.

ChatGPT was launched in November 2022, and it took only five days for the website to reach one million users.

This was great, except that chatbot lacked a mobile app.

This allowed for similar apps (ChatGPT-clones) to flourish on mobile app stores.

ChatGPT’s app is currently available for iPhone and iPad users within the United States with hopes of getting to more countries shortly.

The app will later be coming to Android users as well.

The mobile app will remain ad-free, however, with the option to subscribe to the ChatGPT premium version.

Also, users can interact with the app using their voice – a feature not available on the desktop version.

The new ChatGPT app will find itself up against a flood of ‘AI apps’ already on the internet, including those from big tech companies Bing and Google.

As always there is a tendency for AI chatbots to provide inaccurate information. So users must be vigilant in double-checking any data provided by AI chatbots.
