Infinix Hot 30 Review: Call it a bargain?

The Infinix Hot 30 is the latest addition to the Hot series. This device would be appealing to users looking for a phone with an eye-catching rear design, solid performance and battery life for days.
Display and Build
The device has a glossy plastic finish at the rear, with a linear design across the length of the device. It features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and an LED flash near the double-camera module.
The Infinix Hot 30 has a 6.78-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has 600 nits of peak brightness which produces good colours, but hardly enough for viewing on a sunny day.
Camera
The Infinix Hot 30 has a dual camera module made up of two 50MP sensors and an 8MP front camera will be responsible for selfies. The device can record video of up to 1080p@30fps.
Performance
The Infinix Hot 30 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which handles app switching and most resource-intensive games smoothly.
The device runs on Android 13 with Infinix’s XOS 12.6 skin and comes with 8GB of RAM.
Battery
The Infinx Hot 30 features a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging, enabling the device to reach a 50% charge in 30 minutes.
Price
The 128/8GB variant is currently on sale for GHS 1,700 while the 256GB storage version is GHS 200 at GHS 1,900.
The device is available in three colours: black, blue, and white.
