AirtelTigo now AT; Rebranding underway nationwide

Ghanaian telecom company AirtelTigo has begun its rebranding process and will now be known as AT.

The company announced to its all customers of its name change from AirtelTigo to AT. The decision to simplify the name reflects a desire for a more simple yet streamlined brand identity.

The name change will affect all AT Ghana services including ATMoney, ATBusiness and ATInsurance

AT’s rebranding efforts aim to enhance its overall identity.

Since its merger in 2017, AT has sought to improve its service across the country. A new brand identity could earmark a new phase of the company’s commitment to providing excellent telecom services.

Also, Glo Ghana, has completed the migration of its customers to AT Ghana as part of an imminent merger.

In 2022, Glo migrated its users to the AirtelTigo network, while maintaining all other Glo services.

Both companies initially described this as a roaming agreement, however recent activities hints at a merger between AT and Glo.
