
The maiden edition of the Africa Bitcoin Conference (ABC) will take place on December 5 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
The three-day in-person event will bring together some of the greatest minds in the Bitcoin community.
Prominent speakers for this conference include Jack Dorsey, Ray Youssef, Bernard Parah, Obi Nwosu and a host of others.
Speaking at a press conference, Prince Akpah (Guest Relation Officer, ABC) highlighted the rise of Bitcoin globally, he said.
“Bitcoin has transformed the way people interact with money and the global monetary system over 300 million crypto users have emerged in just over a decade far at numbering their annual adoption rate of other digital innovations such as the internet or mobile money.”

The conference is expected to bring together over 600 participants from all over the continent including bitcoiners, entrepreneurs, developers and enthusiasts.
Alfred Adjabeng (Partner & Sponsorship Laison, ABC), also spoke on the adoption of Bitcoin.
