Will my phone get Android 14? Google, Samsung, Tecno Update

Android 14, the latest iteration of the Android OS has arrived. Compatible devices will soon be able to upgrade to the newest version of Android.
Since there are several Android skins, the rollout times for Android 14 will differ based on the manufacturers.
Google has a note-worthy record of updating their devices on time. This time, all Pixel phones including and released after Pixel 4a 5G will receive the Android 14 update.
The Pixel 4a, however, is not expected to get the update based on Google 3-year OS update policy.

Samsung leads the charts with software support, offering up to four major OS updates for its flagship smartphones. The company has begun beta testing for OneUI 6 – its version of Android 14.
The rollout is expected to start in September for flagships and extend to other Galaxy devices in the coming months.

Tecno Mobile has consistently delivered incredible smartphones, but their reliability in the software department has been questionable. While Tecno’s proprietary HiOS has shown improvement over time, its update policy has been less than satisfactory.
For instance, even though the Camon 20 series is eligible for the Android 14 update, there is uncertainty about whether it will receive any further updates in the future.
