Many apps including; WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram and so many more support dark/night themes. And to no surprise, Google’s Search app joins the list.
Google is introducing a dark mode option to its search app which will be available on Android 10 and iOS 12 and 13. The app will detect your device default display settings and reflect the changes.
Experts say that dark mode protects the eyes from the traditional ‘bright’ white light which may cause eye strain and poor sleep quality. Additionally, enabling dark mode may save battery life in the long run.
This option has been available for Google’s beta users a while now and would soon roll out to compatible devices.
