Florence Ohene appointed as Country General Manager for IBM Ghana

The multinational technology company, IBM has announced the appointment of Florence Ohene as Country head for IBM Ghana. As Country General manager, she will be in charge of IBM Sales, Marketing, Services and Global Delivery Operations in the country.

Prior to her appointment, Florence Ohene served as Regional Head of Sales for Vodacom Business Africa’s operations in Ghana and Francophone regions. She was also the Business Director for Publicis Groupe Africa, and Business Development Manager, at Bell Canada.

IBM Ghana is one of the various branches within IBM’s Middle East and Africa market and reports to Regional Head, Angela Kyerematen-Jimoh, who some time ago was the 1st Female to be appointed Country General Manager for IBM Ghana.

Florence Ohene brings to her current role a wealth of experience and expertise from 20+ years of local and international roles within the Technology industry together with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Society from York University, Toronto, Canada.
