Galaxy S24 Series to launch on January 17

In its first Unpacked event of 2024, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra on January 17.

Artificial intelligence is expected to take centre stage for the new flagships, with the Exynos 2400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets both equipped to handle AI-related functions.

Such AI features include real-time language translation during phone calls, wallpaper generation, note summaries and more.

The Samsung S24 series is rumoured to feature a similar design to that of the Galaxy S23 series.

The bulk of the specifications are also expected to follow suit such as AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate across the series.

Based on reports, the US version of the Galaxy S24 and 24+ will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor while the international model will feature the Exynos 2400.

The S24 model could experience a slight bump up in battery capacity, with a 4000mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 would support 25W wired charging while the S24 Plus and Ultra variants would have 45W charging capabilities.

The pricing of these new models islikely to be similar to those of the S23 series, with the Galaxy S24 selling $800, the S24 Plus model at $1,000, and the S24 Ultra at $1,200.
