Galaxy Unpacked Recap: Z Fold 6, Galaxy Ring & more

Last week Samsung launched a stack of devices at its Summer Unpacked event among them were two foldable, smartwatches, earbuds and a ring.
Z Fold 6

The new Galaxy Z Fold 6 is Samsung’s top-of-the-line foldable smartphone. The foldable features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset for peak performance plus several AI optimizations to make for a more handy user experience.
The inner display of the Z Fold 6 is a 7.6-inch LTPO AMOLED display, while the cover display has a size of 6.3 inches – both with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Z Fold 6’s main camera setup features three lenses – a 50MP wide lens, 10MP telephoto and 12MP ultrawide lenses.
For selfies, there’s a 4MP under-display camera when the device is unfolded and a 10MP cover camera on the outer part.
Buyers will have to rely on a 4400mAh battery with 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support to see them through the day.
Z Flip 6
The Z Flip 6 maintains some specifications from the last model such as a 6.7-inch main display with a 3.4-inch cover display.
Its main camera, however, has improved from a 12MP wide lens to 50MP with optical image stabilisation. There’s also a 12MP ultrawide lens and 10MP front-facing camera.

The biggest upgrade yet for the Z Fold 6 is its 400mAh battery with 25W fast charging support promising a 50% charge in 30 minutes.
Galaxy Watch 7
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is the latest edition of Samsung’s smartwatch series. It’s capable of lasting up to 100 hours in standby mode and has a 3x better performance compared to the last edition.

The Watch Ultra sports a rugged design, while the Watch 7 series sports a round design and offers several wellness and fitness monitors.
Some of these include:
- ECG testing
- Blood pressure testing (in EU)
- Sleep apnea detection
Galaxy Ring

The Galaxy Ring is Samsungs first smart ring product and serves many health-focused functions.
The perfect device for users who want adequate health tracking without having to wear a watch.
With the ring, you can monitor basic vital metrics like heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation.
The ring can also track menstrual cycles and sleep quality.
Tying into the Samsung ecosystem the ring can take photos and snooze your morning alarm using simple finger gestures.
Galaxy Buds 3

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 3 have seen the biggest change of all the devices. The new buds have your typical earbud aesthetic featuring a blade-like stem.
The stems allow for basic music and calling control as well as a more improved active noise cancellation.
