On August 10, Samsung will announce the Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 together with a new Galaxy Watch and Galaxy buds.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be the 4th generation of foldable devices made by the company.
Display
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. When closed, the ‘smaller display’ takes up 1.9-inches and can serve as a quick notification reader.
Camera
The camera setup on the Z Flip 4 will be similar to that of its predecessor.
A 12MP (primary) and 12MP (ultrawide) lens will make up the rear camera and the 10MP lens on the front will be the selfie snapper.
Performance
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be the powerhouse behind the Z Flip 4, according to multiple sources.
You can expect the device to boot with the Android 12-based One UI 4.1.1 which will give you a host of features and customizations.
The Z Flip 4 will come with 8GB RAM paired with either 128,256 or 512GB internal storage.
Battery Life
The device is expected to have a 3,700mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Where to buy
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will launch on August 10. Rumours hint at a price range between $1120-1,300. (GHS 9,700-11,000)
The prices will differ based on their variants – possibly 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Samsung themselves have teased a violet shade for the device. However, you can be hopeful of other colour options.
The device should be on sale shortly after the launch.
