Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Black Line Problem: Dead Pixel Solution
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series has and continues to grab attention as a groundbreaking device due to its form factor.
However, recent findings reveal a potential problem that could harm its innovative foldable screen.
Nigerian tech YouTuber, Kingsley Enya (Tech Overwatch), shed light on a concerning issue that could lead to screen damage on Samsung’s Z Fold series.
Z Fold Screen Issue
When you first purchase a Galaxy Z Fold, you’ll find a screen protector already applied to the display.
While it is meant to protect the screen it can result in a problem for the screen.
Over time and with frequent folding and unfolding the screen protector may start to lose its grip and lift at the crease, forming a bubble.
As you continue to use your device, the screen protector may start sticking together and pulling out pixels from the display. This results in black dots or lines along the crease.
Additionally, the formation of the bubble creates a space where dust and other particles can easily lodge.
These tiny particles when trapped between the two sides of the screen can cause them to crack when closed.
How to prevent screen damage
The solution to this issue is to remove the pre-installed screen protector once the slightest air bubble begins to form or when the screen protector starts to wear off.
By peeling off the faulty protector, you can safeguard your Galaxy Z Fold device from potential damage.
