Instagram, unlike most other social and professional networks is, not flooded with a lot of links.
The few instances you can add links is by the link option in bio, via DMs or if you’re running a sponsored ad.
Another place where links can be added is in stories – but this is only available if you have over 10,000 followers. Followers could swipe up to access the content of the link.
That’s about to change.
Instagram will shut down the ‘swipe up’ feature on August 30 and introduce a link sticker.
The link sticker will work just as any other sticker -like the poll and question stickesr.
Like the stickers, we already know and use, creators can choose between different styles, resize the stickers and place them anywhere on the Story.
It’ll still be only available to accounts with over 10,000 followers (bummer). Hopefully Instagram expands the feature to other accounts.
