Since iOS 15 was released, several users have complained about the change of location of the address bar/search in Safari. This post will show you how to move the URL bar to the top.
iOS 15 is not short of amazing features which cut across Facetime, Notes, Maps, Notifications and even new memojis.
Safari was not left out. One of such was the bottom tab bar feature which moved the address bar to the bottom of the page.

Here are two ways to switch the address bar in Safari.
Change address bar location in Safari
Follow these steps to switch the location of the address bar in Safari.
- Open Safari
- Select the ‘aA‘ icon (left corner of the address bar)
- Select Show Top Address Bar
Alternatively you can make this change in Settings.

- Select Safari
- Under Tabs, Select Single Tab
This will move the address bar to the top.
