Earlier in the week, Samsung S22 devices had the stable OneUI 5 update available to them. That is not surprising, seeing as this is Samsung’s latest flagship.
While these users have access to the latest features, other Samsung users are patiently waiting in line for their turn to experience OneUI 5.
Samsung has announced a schedule for the other devices to get the OneUI 5 update.
Most of its high-end devices are expected to receive the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update by the end of November.
Starting in December 2022 the update will be available for older flagships, and select midrange devices.
November 2022: Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, S21 Series, S20 Series, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A33.
December 2022: Z Fold 2, Z Flip, S20 FE, Galaxy A52s, Galaxy A51,42,32.

OneUI 5 comes with some significant upgrades including;

- expanded colour palette for Material You,
- improved notification panel,
- customizable watermark within the camera app
- stacked widgets and,
- call background for individual contacts.
If you have an older phone, this might be the time to upgrade to a newer one. Here are a couple of my reviews if you want to consider some options to buy.
