Samsung reveals release date for One UI 5.0

After several weeks of further testing, Samsung revealed some new information about One UI 5.0.

One UI 5.0 (Beta) was initially available in select markets however, it is expected to roll out to users this month. Likely between 22 and 24th October.

OneUI 5.0 (Colour palette and Notification upgrades)

The new One UI 5.0 update will bring a range of improvements to;

lock screen customization,
expanded colour palette for Material You,
improved notification panel,
stacked widgets and,
call background for individual contacts.

Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 5.0 update will be available for the Galaxy S22 later this month. With it almost being the middle of October, S22 users won’t have to wait too long.

The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold4, and Galaxy Z Flip4 are also scheduled to receive the One UI 5.0 update this year.
