OnePlus 12, 12R Features and Specifications

OnePlus has officially released the global version of its flagship mobile the OnePlus 12 in an event in India.

The company also revealed the OnePlus 12R and the OnePlus Buds 3.

Lets look at the new features each device brings.

OnePlus 12 Specifications

The smartphone sports a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness reaching 4,500 nits.

It features an aluminium frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front.

The OnePlus 12 is powered by Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, delivering awesome performance.

Users can choose from configurations offering up to 24 GB of RAM and an expansive 1 TB of storage. 

Those outside of China will have their devices booting the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14, right out of the box.

OnePlus promises four years of Android updates for the OnePlus 12.

Camera enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50 MP primary camera, a 64 MP telephoto camera, and a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. 

The front camera boasts a 32 MP sensor to handle selfies.

A large 5,400mAh battery powers the OnePlus 12 and has support for 100 W SuperVOOC charging, 50 W wireless charging, and 10 W reverse wireless charging.

OnePlus 12R Specifications

The display of the 12R is slightly smaller with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It features Qualcomm’s 2022 Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset supported by 8GB and 16GB variants.

Users get the same Android 14 software and four years of OS support with the OnePlus 12R.

The main camera setup of the OnePlus 12 R features 3 sensors.

A 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lens. On the front is a 16MP selfie camera.

OnePlus 12R features a slightly bigger 5,500mAh battery with 100W wired charging support.

Unlike OnePlus 12, the 12R does not support wireless charging.

OnePlus 12 Pricing

 The base model of the OnePlus 12, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, will be priced at $800, while the variant with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will be available for $900.

The OnePlus 12R will be priced starting at $500 for the 8GB/ 128GB model. The 16GB/256GB variant will be available for $600. 

The devices are set to ship on February 6.
