Samsung just launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 at the Unpacked event on August 10.
In the buildup to the event, many tech lovers discussed ways Samsung could improve the Z Flip 4 from the previous models.
After launch, a good number of users believe that this is the best ‘Flip’ device yet.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the other hand, the ‘smaller’ cover display has a 1.9-inch AMOLED panel via which you can check battery life, and notifications, among others.
In the camera department the Flip 4 houses a dual rear camera made up of two 12MP sensors (primary and ultrawide). These will be responsible for handling all your shots with top quality.
On top of that, you can record in 4K with up to 60fps.
On the front is a 10MP selfie camera. The front camera can be used through the cover display, such that you can still take photos with the device closed.
The Z Flip 4 is powered by the high-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
A strong processor paired with a 120Hz refresh rate is sure to be evident in the responsiveness of the device.
For software, the device will boot the Android 12-based OneUI 4.1.1.
The Z Flip 4 has a 3,700mAh battery, an upgrade from the Z Flip 3.
Heavy users can take a bit of solace in the 25W fast charging capabilities to juice the device.
With the Z Flip 4, you get 8GB of RAM and 128, 256 or 512GB of internal storage.
The 8/128GB model starts at $999 (close to GHS 9000).
The device is available to pre-order at Samsung.com. However they will be in retail stores from August 26.
