Samsung is giving Six Years of OS Updates to these Phones
Samsung has expanded its six-year software update support to encompass mid-range and entry-level phones. This will allow extended support for these devices for years to come.
Here’s the official list of Samsung devices that will enjoy extended software support:
Samsung Phones Getting Six Years of OS Updates
- Galaxy A56 5G
- Galaxy A36 5G
- Galaxy A26 5G
- Galaxy A16
- Galaxy A16 5G
- Galaxy M16 5G
These phones will receive six years of One UI updates alongside six years of security patches.
Galaxy A56, A36, A26, and M16 which launched with One UI 7 (Android 15) and will receive updates all the way to Android 21.
Galaxy A16 and A16 5G, which launched with Android 14, will receive updates up to Android 20.
