You Can Now Send Instagram DMs Using Your PC

Instagram users can now access Direct Messages via their PCs. This feature has been in the works for about a year now.
Instagram began testing DM access via desktop to a small number of users, somewhere last year. Currently, a larger number of users can be able to send DMs via their PCs
IG seeks to make as many tools as possible accessible to more users. Besides, it fits into Facebook’s “grand plan” – since WhatsApp and Messenger are accessible on PCs, it’s only right that Instagram follows suit.

So now if your phone is unavailable, you can still connect with friends and family using Instagram on your PC.
