Recently a Chinese company Amazfit unveiled its smart ring, the Helio Ring, at CES 2024 in Las Vegas.
This move could potentially make Amazfit a major player in the smart ring game ahead of industry tech leaders like Samsung.
Crafted from lightweight and durable titanium alloy, the Helio Ring boasts a titanium alloy build with 2.6mm thickness and weighs 4 grams.
The ring is primarily aimed at athletes but its features could serve the general public as well. The Helio Ring promises to enhance both workouts and sleep quality, by providing analysis on heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, and sleep data.
As of writing, the Helio rings are said to support various exercises such as running, walking, treadmill workouts, and cycling. Amazfit has also hinted at the possibility of syncing the Helio Ring with its smartwatches for enhanced accuracy.
While pricing details are yet to be disclosed, the Helio Ring is anticipated to hit the market later in the year.
Galaxy Ring?
In other news, rumours suggest that the a Galaxy Ring from Samsung might make an appearance at this year.
Several leaks and speculations point to a potential launch of a smart rings from the mobile company.
