Tecno Camon 20 series gets Android 14 Update (HiOS 14, HiOS 13.6)

The latest stable Android 14 version is coming to Tecno’s Camon 20 series. The update is currently being rolled out for the Camon 20 Pro 5G and Camon 20 Premier with other devices in the series to follow soon.

The update comes on the back of Tecno’s in-house HiOS 13.6 and promises improvements for users. There are optimizations for the Dynamic port, Game assist, Floating screen, AI Gallery and many more.

Along with other features, Tecno has included a security and privacy app that users can access through the quick settings menu. It allows users to control settings related to potential privacy vulnerabilities, such as location and microphone access.

How to update to HiOS 13.6

To check if the Android 14 (HiOS 13.6) update has reached your device, follow these steps:

Go to Settings.
Scroll down to System and select System Update.
If the Android 14 update is available, there will be an option to download and install.

Make sure your phone has sufficient battery power before downloading the update.
