Tecno’s next device is the Camon 30 series

Tecno Mobile has had a good start to the year with the release of its Spark 20 series last week.
As previous years have been, you can expect several more releases from Tecno including the Camon series, Pova series, Phantom X series and V Flip/Fold series.
The Camon series has been a consistent performer, with the Tecno Camon 20 being its latest iteration and its predecessor, the Camon 19 series, making waves before that in terms of design and midrange performance.
The Camon 20 series was launched last year comprising; the Camon 20, 20 Pro and 20 Premier. The mid-range series was widely patronized in Africa and many parts of Asia.

The Camon 20 Pro 5G featured a Dimensity 8050 processor, 64MP main camera and 32 MP front camera. The design and aesthetics of the series also gained attention, especially with the pentagon-shaped camera bump and Tecno’s proprietary leathery Magic Skin on the back of the phones.
What to Expect in Early 2024
After a great year, Tecno fans are already looking into the future as to what the company has in store for them.
For starters, Tecno is skipping the Camon 21 model name and calling the next iteration the Camon 30 series.
Let’s look into the details of Tecno’s next midrange release.
Camon 30 Performance
Comparing the performance of the Tecno Camon 30 to its predecessor, the Camon 20 Premier, anticipations are high for a performance boost of about 25%
Per rumours, driving this enhanced performance is the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, which should come coupled with a generous 12GB of RAM and storage options reaching up to 512GB.
Although the Camon 20 Premier featured an impressive Dimensity 8050 chipset, the Camon 30 is sure to surpass its performance.

Upgrades for Camon 30
As we await the arrival of the Tecno Camon 30 series, possibly, in the first quarter of 2024, it’s clear that Tecno is gearing up for a substantial upgrade – perfromance-wise at least.
The upcoming Camon smartphones might feature an upgraded processor across the entire series.
This expectation arises from the fact that the Spark 20 series, which is typically a step behind the Camon series, incorporates the Helio G99 processor in two of its devices (Spark 20 Pro and Spark 20 Pro Plus).
The same Helio G99 processor was featured in the Camon 20 Pro 4G last year. This leads one to believe that the Camon series will undergo a ‘processor bump’ in the coming year.
