Telegram features you should be using right now
Telegram is one of the most popular messaging apps among young people around the world.
However, if you’re currently using Telegram, it’s likely that you’re only using a fraction of the features it offers. In this blog post, I will be sharing some Telegram tips that you should consider trying out.
Profile videos

In most other apps, you can only set your display avatar with a photo, but in Telegram you can set a video instead, which will be displayed on your profile.
To enable this, go to Settings, Tap Edit at the top right. Select new photo/video, then upload a video file of your choice or record one from within the app.
Send media without compression
In general, although the quality of media in Telegram is better than in other applications, Telegram still compresses the media to some extent.
To prevent this, select the picture or video you want to send, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, and then tap Send as File.
Your media should be sent at its original size and quality.
Quick reactions

We all know that post that doesn’t need a full reply, but not replying sounds rude? With Telegram, you can set a quick emoji response that you can use for private chats and groups.
To set your default emoji reaction, go to Settings, Quick Reactions, and then select a default emoji. To use the feature, double-tap a message to react to it.
Picture in Picture mode
Picture-in-picture (PIP) allows you to continue watching videos after you close the app. To enable it, tap the window button in the upper right corner of the video you want to continue watching.
