Twitter has disabled ‘Twitter via SMS’ due to security concerns

Twitter announced that it has disabled the ‘Twitter via SMS’ feature – that gave users the ability to read and compose tweets via SMS texts.
The feature is still running in a few countries that rely on it.
Twitter says it disabled the feature to help “people keep their accounts safe,” due to security concerns.
Last year, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s account was hacked, with the hackers using Twitter via SMS to send tweets from his accounts.
“We turned off the remainder of our Twitter via SMS feature, except for a few countries that rely on it to use Twitter.”
–Twitter Spokesperson
Twitter will continue to send important messages like authentication codes via SMS.

I am not familiar with this feature, that is why I am not sure if it performs quite well. But thansk for letting us know.
You're welcome. Doesn't seem like many people used it recently.
