New Smartphones to Look Forward to in August

August is shaping up nicely for the smartphone market. There are some impressive phones on the horizon – from budget gaming phones like the Infinix GT 10 Series to OnePlus’ first foldable phone.
If you are planning to upgrade your smartphone, keep an eye out for these upcoming launches in August.
Infinix GT 10 Series

For gaming enthusiasts on a budget, Infinix is offering two devices in the GT 10 Series options – the GT 10 Pro and the GT 10 Pro Plus.
These phones are expected to launch in the first week of August, featuring an interesting ‘gaming’ design with LED lights at the back.
While the design is catchy, the backbone of the device lies in its performance. The Dimensity 8050 chipset coupled with up to 28GB of RAM will ensure fluidity while playing games.
The Infinix GT 10 Series will also feature a 108 MP triple camera setup and a 7000 mAh battery.
OnePlus Open

Arguably one of the most anticipated launches of August is OnePlus’ first foldable phone, rumoured to be named OnePlus Open.
The phone will feature a 6.3-inch cover screen and a 7.8-inch AMOLED panel when unfolded. The device is also expected to come equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and a 50 MP triple camera setup, potentially featuring a periscope camera for optical zoom capabilities.
The launch of the OnePlus Open is scheduled for August 29th.
Realme GT Neo 6

Realme is rumoured to unveil the GT Neo 6 at the end of August. The smartphone is anticipated to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor alongside a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The camera setup is expected to be a 50 MP triple camera, with a 4600 mAh battery expected to power the device.
Topping it all off, it is said to support super-fast 240W charging, powering the battery from 0 to 100% in under ten minutes.
