WhatsApp Dark Mode is here

WhatsApp has been in the news for all the right reasons. First- reaching the milestone of 5 billion downloads on Android devices and now the much-anticipated feature.

WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature – Dark mode, but there’s a catch. This feature is only available for users who are part of the Android beta program (beta testers) and may not be available for all users for now.

So here’s how to enable dark mode on Android –

1. Click the ‘three’ dot menu in the upper right corner

2. Select Settings

3. Select Chats 

4. You’ll see a ‘Theme‘ option

5. Select Dark

6. Done!

This feature is expected to go mainstream for all users in a few weeks, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
