There’s a new interface colour for WhatsApp, and not everyone likes it

WhatsApp has rolled out a new update to its colour scheme, turning some parts of the app from a darker shade of green to a lighter one.

The update comes with a lighter shade of green to key elements, including the top bar, and message bubbles.

You might have probably also noticed this with rings around status updates.

A number of users on social media have express their dissatisfaction with the new colour.

A poll I conducted on Instagram suggests otherwise. 75% thought that the new green colour looked good.
